About nine years ago, I rather despaired of ever being well and strong again. I was continually having indigestion and catarrhal trouble. I feared tuberculosis; and although I doctored a great deal, I was not relieved of that depressing thought.

It was while away at a summer resort, where my husband had taken me in the hope of benefiting me, that I learned of Christian Science. Two people spoke to me of its healing truth. When we returned home my husband urged me at least to try it; and I did, with the result that after the first talk with a practitioner my thought was uplifted as it had never been before. I was told that God is Love and that God is good. I began to hope for more good; and from then on, my understanding of God has become clearer, and in consequence I have enjoyed better health, more freedom, and greater prosperity. By seeking "first the kingdom of God," all these things have been "added"; and I am indeed grateful for this wonderful truth.

At times physical ailments in our family have not yielded as quickly as at others; but I have found that as I have clung closer to God and learned more about Him, and about the real man in His image and likeness, the ailments have disappeared—that is, they have been seen in the true light, as nothing. I am learning that God is All; and for this I am grateful.
