Christian Scientists are actively engaged in a ceaseless warfare with the beliefs of sin, sickness, and death. When these ills present themselves in the endeavor to crush, weigh down, or destroy those who are striving for the mastery, they turn unreservedly to God, infinite Mind, for help, nor rest until they see His power and love manifested in the destruction of the evil. Christian Scientists are reaching out for the truth to which Jesus came to bear witness, and they pray always for more enlightenment and a greater understanding of the message he brought to the world. They realize that as its mighty import is recognized and lived, the reign of evil will proportionately cease, until finally "the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."
