Your Benoni correspondent probably knew better when he suggested that Mrs. Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" might be better known as Science and "Wealth." People are beginning to learn that health or holiness—goodness—has a deeper significance than mere animal soundness, whilst wealth, in such combinations as commonweal, is seen to have a deeper significance than material possessions. However, Mrs. Eddy had good authority for the title of her book. In Wycliffe's Bible the words "knowledge of salvation" are translated "science and helthe;" and Christian Scientists are grateful to have this wider meaning of the word "health," and to have been taught by Mrs. Eddy that health is as necessary a part of salvation as the other graces of Spirit.
