Two years previous to coming into Christian Science my daughter fell and broke her right arm. The doctor who attended her said the bone was badly bent, but would become all right. It did not, however; and after several months, she sprained the elbow of the same arm. Several doctors were called in, one of whom ordered a course of electric message; but the arm was no better. My daughter had to leave school and discontinue her piano lessons, as besides suffering considerable pain at times, she was unable to write or use the arm for carrying or lifting anything or even passing a plate at the table. Some time afterwards, the case was mentioned to another doctor, and he said he would like to see the arm; but he, also, was unable to hold out any hope of healing. He said the main nerve had evidently snapped, and it would take many years to grow, if it ever did. He said he could operate; but if successful the operation would leave an unsightly gash, and if unsuccessful, the arm would be absolutely useless.

About a year afterwards, we heard of Christian Science and took my daughter to a practitioner, who lovingly gave her treatment. After her first visit to him the arm was much better; and in three weeks it was entirely healed. Since then, she has not had the slightest pain in it, and can use it as well as the other.

Since that time Christian Science has been our only physician. We have had many demonstrations of God's ever present love. Colds, headaches, skin trouble, the after effects of gastric influenza, a strained neck, and a poisoned thumb, are a few of the many difficulties which have been overcome when the truth has been faithfully applied.
