For the past eleven years Christian Science has been to me like the saving light of the lighthouse, when a ship on a stormy night is seeking refuge and safety. The light of Truth has guided me through many storms of error, "black with ... doubt, and fear," into the clear understanding of God's protection and correction, which has made my life worth living.
My two boys have been equally benefited in many ways. The youngest boy was healed of typhoid pneumonia, after a physician had given him up. The fever was quickly allayed, and my boy restored to health and happiness. This is only one of the many healings he has had.
The all-power of God, good, was also demonstrated very clearly when my son wished to enter a trade school. His failure in the first examination awoke him from apathy to earnest effort; and with the same loving help, he was given another chance, and passed one of the best in a class of thirty students. One lesson learned was that God's will is good, and only good. Truth has given him a firm foundation.
