"Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to the childlike," is an admonition of our Master, in the words of the Twentieth Century New Testament, that has been a rule in our home; and its observance has resulted in great blessings to children and adults. Our children have been the readiest of subjects for Christian Science healing, generally responding quickly to treatment, even from virulent diseases; and often they are most effective demonstrations of Truth, helping both themselves and others. Recently, one little one instantaneously healed an adult of a severe attack of hemorrhage, audibly declaring the nothingness of the startling appearance of the disorder. These attacks had become chronic in their occurrence, and this one seemed to be serious. Not only was the hemorrhage stopped immediately, but there has been no subsequent recurrence.

Our two little girls had a severe attack of scarlet fever and were quarantined. They were so promptly and completely healed through Christian Science that the quarantine was removed on the twelfth day. Before the quarantine was raised, a special inspector from the health office made a thorough examination, and found no remaining evidences of the disease.

Deafness came suddenly and without apparent cause upon one of the children. After several months of persistent effort it had yielded but little. School authorities were critical, and tendencies to discouragement were strong at times. However, Christian Science proved to be a perfect remedy in this as in other times of need, for every vestige of the difficulty has been gone for a long time. The same child had a finger caught in the hinged edge of an automobile door. The door had been slammed so hard that it latched; and it was with difficulty that it was unlatched to release the finger. Under Science treatment the child was comfortable within half an hour, had no further trouble with the finger, and it was soon normal again.
