In deep gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this wondeful Science, I am writing this testimony.

In the fall of 1921 I was taken with pneumonia while visiting relatives on a ranch about thirty miles from the town where I resided. I thought I could overcome this without help; but as I grew seriously worse, after an illness of four weeks a Christian Science practitioner was sent for. With the aid of her righteous prayers, I was healed in one night. I should say the thought was healed, although it was some time before the body responded completely to the changed thought. My relatives insisted that I should have a physician; but my wife, who was studying Christian Science, nursed me, and we were satisfied that if God could not heal me there was no use for a doctor to try.

I have been studying Science for five years, and have found it meets all my needs. I am truly grateful for Christian Science.—Charles F. Runkel, Seattle, Wash.
