I was healed of mental trouble with the help of a Christian Science...
I was healed of mental trouble with the help of a Christian Science practitioner in the spring of 1910, after being absent from my duties for three months; and, as I took up the study of Christian Science, the smoking and drinking habits were overcome, as was also the use of profanity. My family has also been helped a great deal, and it has brought a great deal of happiness into our home. Would you think after so many healings that one would again doubt the goodness of God? Well, I did doubt, to the extent that I had about given up to utter despair; but Christian Science brought me back, and the "still small voice" of Truth gently led me again to my Father's house.
I hope my testimony will be a help to some one who may be passing through the deep waters of doubt. I am thankful to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, which she has so unselfishly given to the world, and to the practitioners who have so lovingly helped me to its understanding, and thankful to God, "from whom all blessings flow."
John Stetzer, Bridgeport, Conn.
