This is to certify that while our son was away in the country and out hunting he was hurt with a gun. He was rushed to a doctor's, who said that his kneecap was cracked and that he must be very quiet, and that it would be months, if ever, before he could walk without being lame. As soon as we got the message we went to a Christian Science practitioner who took care of the case. In three weeks' time our son went to the Hamburg fair, walked around all day, and was not, nor ever has been, lame. He suffered no pain after the third day. He is now working where he is on his feet all day.

I am thankful for Christian Science, and grateful to Mary Baker Eddy for showing to us clearly what God will do for us; and to the practitioner for holding up the light which we may turn to when it seems to be so dark.
