I should like to prove a little of the gratitude I feel for hearing of this beautiful truth, by sending a testimony. It is a little over five years since I first heard of Christian Science. During that time I have been healed of rheumatism, influenza, and various ailments, sometimes through the help of a practitioner, at other times through my own slight understanding. The taste for wine and cigarettes has been quite overcome without the aid of a practitioner. For this experience and many others I feel very grateful. I have also been able to help others.

What I am most grateful for is the understanding I am gaining each day of what God really is to man—our Father-Mother God, our ever present help. My gratitude to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, also to all my very kind friends who have helped me, can best be expressed by trying to live this truth in my daily life.—(Miss) Elizabeth Walker, Jarrow-on-Tyne, England.
