Since Christian Science came into their lives, its followers study and ponder the great truths of the Bible with ever growing inspiration and enlightenment. They obey Jesus' command, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." In the light of Christian Science, the Bible has become an open book to them. It has revealed the fact that the Christ is a living presence among men to-day, healing the sick and casting out evils, in accordance with the promise, "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." In these days of strife and fermentation, when men are looking for divine help to heal, comfort, and deliver, should a religion, one asks, which is quietly accomplishing the healing works in the name of Christ, and through the acceptance of his promises, be eschewed? Should skepticism, doubt, or caution be necessary? Eyes can no longer be blinded to the fact that in every part of the world men and women are testifying to reformed lives, to evil habits overcome, diseases healed, and burdens lifted. These are the fruits of the understanding which Christian Science brings of the power of God to heal mankind.
