Having received so many blessing since Christian Science found me, I wish to express my gratitude. After two or three days of treatment by a practitioner, I was raised from a sickbed. All sense of sickness left me, and I felt completely healed; but owing to family conditions at the time, I seemed to lose my hold on Christian Science until four years later, when I again asked for treatment. This time I held on. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was put into my hands; and with the help of the dear workers, and the reading of the book, I came out of darkness into light, into peace and joy. A new life opened up to me, and I realized for the first time the living Christ. My heart overflowed with gratitude.

I was healed of serious troubles,—of sore throat, internal trouble, grippe, swollen ankle, and other minor ills "that flesh is heir to." I could not recount all my blessing in words. "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases," as the Bible tells us. I know I can only express my gratitude by obeying the commandment, "Love thy neighbour as thyself." Last year I had the privilege of class instruction, for which I have much to be thankful, as I have been greatly uplifted and benefited by it. I am also thankful for being able to do Sunday school work.
