Many healings and blessings have come to me in the past three years through the study of Christian Science. From childhood I was troubled with hernia, and for many years wore a truss; after reading the textbook about five months I laid aside the truss, entirely free from the trouble. A bowel trouble of fifteen years' standing was quickly met. I have taken no medicine from the time I started reading Science and Health. I also laid aside glasses the doctor said I would always have to wear, and am now using my eyes more than ever before. The smoking habit was also overcome in a very short time; without any effort on my part the desire for tobacco left me. There are many other healings for which I am truly grateful. Knowing the truth about God and man helps and sustains me in my daily work. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having revealed to us this wonderful truth, and for all the Christian Science literature, which is teaching us the Science of right living.
