It is with deep gratitude that I give this testimony to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. Until about three and one half years ago I was without any religion or belief in God, and up to that time never felt any desire for spiritual things. I thought that all kinds of religion were more or less superstitious and due to fear of punishment hereafter, and as I thought I had tried all my life to live somewhat after the teachings of the Golden Rule, I need not have any fear of future punishment. Such was my blindness. And yet I was a sufferer all my life from all sorts of physical ailments, but it was not for physical healing that I turned to Christian Science. The time came when I needed help other than physical or material, and as I had not known God, did not know how to turn to Him. I was brought up in the Jewish religion, but turned from that as it did not seem to meet my need. I went to other churches, but could find no satisfaction in them, and at last was led by divine guidance to the Christian Science church one Sunday morning. The lesson was "Love," and every word I heard that morning entered my consciousness and has never left me. I was instantly healed of all that was troubling me, and came out of that church a new woman. After that some loving neighbors lent me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the reading of that wonderful book healed me of stomach trouble of many years' standing, which was supposed to have been inherited. Also at that time a difficult financial problem was solved. Since then I have had many beautiful healings in Christian Science, for which I am grateful; but I am most grateful for the overcoming and destruction of false beliefs, such as limitation, worry, envy, feelings of injustice and resentment, and for the daily blessings that came to me through the overcoming.

I am also grateful for the kind and patient work of the practitioners through whose work I have been helped over so many rough places. I am grateful for the literature, as many problems have been solved by the reading of it. Most of all I am grateful to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving to us this wonderful, true religion, through the study of which we may find and know God, infinite good.
