Having been greatly helped and comforted many times by reading the testimonies of others, I would like to help some one by telling a little of what Christian Science has done for me. It has lifted me out of sickness and ignorance of the truth about God and man. While I had been an active worker and teacher in a denominational church, I did not understand God to be an ever present help and deliverance from all error here and now. I was subject to biliousness and internal weakness; life was a drag; now I know that God is my strength and that He will make my way perfect. I have no fear, no anxious care, knowing that "thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." I am never lonely because I can always have the Bible and Science and Health to read, which means more to me than all else. I am grateful to our dear Leader and for the help of practitioners. My desire is to attain to such an understanding that I may do the work Christ Jesus bade us do.
