It is with a heart full of gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and thankfulness for all that Science has done for me, that I send this testimony. Christian Science was first brought to my notice thirteen years ago, by a cousin who was visiting me. Three years later I bought a copy of Science and Health and had treatments for my little girl for ringworm, and the healing was wonderful. A little later I had treatment for her for stomach trouble. All this time I only read or studied while having treatments for her, but six years ago I had rheumatism, and not erceiving any help from material remedies, I turned unreservedly to Science and was healed. The healing came slowly, for which I am now thankful, as I was thus compelled to study and search all the harder to find what I wanted.

I was a member of a denominational church and no one could ever make me believe that I would give up that church for Christian Science. For a year I struggled between the two, but Truth won, and I am so happy to be able to say that I am now a member of The Mother Church and have the privilege of being First Reader for a little group who are studying the Lesson-Sermons.

My husband is a druggist, but does not oppose Christian Science, and it has been the only physician that I have had either for my children or myself for the past six years. During the influenza epidemic last year we came under the disease for a few days but we were wonderfully helped in Science. We have had innumerable healings since coming into Science but I am more thankful for the spiritual help than anything else. It has helped me to see man as the idea of God and to love my neighbor as myself. I am also grateful for all our literature.
