It is with a feeling of deep gratitude that I send this testimony of the healing power of Christian Science. I had searched in vain for God through the medium of a denominational church, through Oriental philosophy, and through the pages of the world's master thinkers; yet He still seemed far away, and I needed Him so badly. Finally, through going to a practitioner, I found the source of all good in ever present Love, God, whom Christian Science wonderfully reveals. Immediately such remarkable healings took place. I had been under the care of specialists for several years, and had been twice in the hospital, but nothing could be done for me. I was suffering from a nervous trouble, which kept me away from public places and in a state of apprehension; also from skin trouble, neuralgia of the heart, and chronic laryngitis. These have all disappeared as naturally as the morning light replaces the darkness of night.

Before our little girl was born I was in a motor accident, was thrown some distance onto asphalt and rendered unconscious. Upon coming to, I heard people in the crowd that had gathered declaring that my heart the broken; but louder than their voices rang in my heart the voice of Truth proclaiming, "God is my Life." Immediately I got up, saying that I was not hurt, and helped to carry an injured friend half a block to a motor. What might have been a serious accident became for me but another proof of Immanuel, "God with us."

Our little daughter is growing up in the sunlight of God's loving care. As we have realized that her Father-Mother is God, and that she is His child, not ours, she has never had a sick day, and is teaching us that we enter the kingdom of heaven only as we become as little children.
