I am indeed thankful for what Christian Science has done for me. I had been ailing for many years with stomach trouble and another internal disorder. Some of the best physicians could give me no relief and finally advised an operation. After that I got no better and could not rest day or night. Then a friend asked me to try Christian Science and lent me the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I read it and soon my ailments began to lessen and I began to feel so good that I just wanted to keep on reading. I could not overcome all the difficulties myself, so had help from a practitioner and was healed. I have also been healed of an abscess which had caused me much trouble, and what seemed to be smallpox was overcome in a short time. I am a well woman now, doing all my own work.

I am very thankful for the healing of our little boy, who was taken suddenly ill with cramps in the stomach. A practitioner gave him absent treatments and in a short time he was relieved. One evening when on my way to a neighbor's house I turned my ankle. The pain was very bad and when I tried to walk I found that I could not. However I held to the truth the best I could, knowing that with God all is right, and got up and walked home, some little distance. There has been no trouble with the ankle since. We are also grateful for the healing of influenza.
