I have been wonderfully healed through Christian Science. My first experience was an instantaneous healing of an abnormal growth, from which I had suffered for years. I had been operated on about a year and a half before, but the condition only seemed to become aggravated. I had my first Christian Science treatment late one afternoon, and got up well the next morning. It is now over five years since this healing. I have also been healed of stomach trouble in an acute form, blood poisoning, a condition of the eyes which was supposed to have been inherited, burns, cuts, colds, and many other ailments, all of which have yielded quickly and permanently. I am truly grateful for the physical healings, but much more so for the giving way of many faults of character, such as resentment, hatred, anger, selfwill, and a sense of injustice.

Words are inadequate to express what Christian Science is to me, and I am grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving to us a clearer realization of what God is, a better understanding of Christ Jesus, and of man in God's image. I could not close without expressing my gratitude for the Christian Science periodicals, which are to me "beacon-lights along the shores of erudition" (No and Yes, p. 2).—(Mrs.) Catherine Beckman, Holland, Mich.
