For eleven years I suffered from a nervous illness which caused great mental depression, making life well-nigh unbearable. The best medical skill proved of no avail, and for a time I resisted the efforts of friends to induce me to try Christian Science. At last, while going back and forth to a practitioner to tell about my nephew, to whom he was giving absent treatment, I found the depression was gradually lessening. I got "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and studied it, and very soon the sense of depression entirely disappeared. Since then I have been a perfectly healthy, happy woman. I can never adequately express my gratitude to the kindly practitioner who has so patiently helped me, and to other Christian Science friends. When Christian Science rescued me I was mentally, physically, and financially at a very low ebb; now I am free.
