Fourteen years ago I was led to try Christian Science through the recommendation of my vocal teacher, who was a Scientist. For some time I had been a sufferer from hip or side trouble and our family physician insisted on an op eration, to which I would not consent. I was very much weakened and discouraged, and finally decided to call on a Christian Science practitioner for help. The result was that I found just what I had longed for all my life,—peace, happiness, health, and freedom from nervousness and fear. Later I had the privilege of class instruction. I did not at first see my way clear to give up my studio and devote my time to Christian Science practice, but knowing that all supply comes from God I afterwards did so and through His Love was protected in every way.
I am most grateful to Mrs. Eddy for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and all her other writings, also for the Christian Science periodicals. Now I can sing praises to God for all good in a way I never before could.
