Nearly thirty years ago my mother was healed, through Christian Science treatment, of what is called quick consumption. To-day she is a picture of health and a very active practitioner. Since this first proof of the efficacy of Christian Science our family has experienced healings too numerous to mention. Broken bones have been set without material aid, and erysipelas, diphtheria, influenza, fevers, colds, have vanished into their native nothingness through the application of this blessed truth. As I look back over the years and bring to mind the many, many proofs that I have had of the protecting, healing, and saving power of divine Love, my heart is filled with a gratitude that words can never express, and it is my earnest desire that my life attest this gratitude.

Our periodicals are a constant source of inspiration and help, and I want to express my thankfulness to God and to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, also my gratitude to our revered Leader and to all those who are helping in the cause of "on earth peace, good will toward men."
