I am so grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and mine and is doing for the world. Not until I became an active worker in the War Relief work and distribution of the periodicals did I truly learn just what Christian Science meant. I have had many healings through the study and application of the truths in Science and Health. I was healed of deafness while listening to a Christian Science lecture. When I went I could not hear my watch tick when held close to my ear; before the lecture was half over I could hear perfectly. I am so thankful to God for Christian Science and grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped me. Above all is the spiritual uplift.
