I did not become interested in Christian Science because of physical healing but for the explanation of God. For the past four years, however, I have relied entirely on it for healing, not only for myself but for the children, and have had many wonderful proofs of the power of Truth. One of these was the healing of my little son, ten months old, who was suffering from a complication of diseases known to materia medica as pneumonia and whooping cough. The child seemed to be passing through the shadow of death, but, thanks be to God, he was completely healed through Christian Science. Other members of the family have also been healed. Measles and mumps were overcome in a very short time. I am grateful for the Christian Science Sunday school, where the children are taught to rely on God for help in every time of need. My nine-year-old daughter overcame an acute attack of rheumatism through her own understanding of the truth. This healing was almost instantaneous.

For the peace, assurance, and happiness which come from even a little understanding of this mighty truth I am truly thankful to God, and to Christ Jesus, the great Way-shower, also grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who in love and patience labored untiringly that we might all have a provable knowledge of God. I am also very grateful for our periodicals and for the church services.
