While I had witnessed the healing effect of Christian Science treatment in the recovery of my wife from seminvalidism, a complete recovery in her case from conditions which the most eminent physicians had told me could never be overcome; and while I had entirely lost my appetite for tobacco through the reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, nevertheless this Science seemed vague and intangible to me—something I could not make practical. But in time I learned how to make use of the teachings of Christian Science, and this knowledge has been such a great blessing to me that I wish to offer my testimony in the hope that it may help some one.

I began the study of Christian Science promptly after my wife's health was restored, and about eight months later, while I was on a business trip accompanied by my wife and out little daughter, the child was prostrated by what seemed to be a severe illness. Suddenly I saw clearly that this evil could not be the work of God, who is good only, and I retired to another room to put into practice for the first time the great truth which I had not seemed to know how to apply before. Within a very few minutes the child came running into the room well and eating a piece of fruit. There was no relapse of any kind.

This demonstration has had a deep effect for good on my life. I had learned how to make manifest the Christ-healing, and I am so thankful for the helpful experiences of a like kind that have come to me since. My prayer is that such a blessing may come to many new seekers after this truth.
