A feeling of inexpressible gratitude leads me to tell of the blessings recently received through Christian Science. In stepping quickly from a sidewalk I injured my ankle and had a feeling as though something had torn or broken. Then foot swelled up and I suffered terrible pain. Knowing that God, our loving Father, is the only healer, and that He aids us in all our troubles, I was full of hope that I would be helped. At seven o'clock in the evening I telephoned to a practitioner for assistance, which she assured me would be given at once. All fear left me, and I busied myself for a time with reading in Science and Health. Around ten o'clock I fell asleep in spite of the severe pains. During the night I awoke twice and each time felt more comfortable. On awakening in the morning, it seemed like a miracle to me that I did not feel any pain. The swelling went down gradually and on the fourteenth day I could again go out. The foot is in its normal condition and can stand any amount of walking.

I thank our heavenly Father from the bottom of my heart for this healing, and hold lovingly in thought that noble woman, Mrs. Eddy, who, through her faithfulness to divine Principle, was enabled to reveal to us anew this healing truth.—(Mrs.) Josephine Demenga, Bern, Switzerland.
