There is no language at my command that can express my gratitude to God and thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy for giving to the world Christian Science. Nearly two years have passed since it was brought to my notice by a loving friend. For five years I had suffered from what turned out to be an internal malignant growth. Doctors and specialists had given me no relief, but when my burden seemed to be too heavy, Christian Science was called to my attention. I went to see a practitioner on Saturday and she gave me a treatment. She treated me Sunday and Monday and then I felt so well physically that I went back to the last specialist, the one I had come from on Friday, that he might satisfy the material world that I was "every whit whole." After examination he said I was perfectly healed. In ten days I was walking anywhere I wanted to go; before that I had gone only from my chair to the bed, as the disease had affected my spine and hips and would not allow me to walk for any length of time. My health has been good ever since.

I am grateful to be a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Roanoke, also to be a teacher in the Sunday school. I am grateful to all who have shown me such loving kindness and help, and for the many blessings that have come into our home. More especially am I grateful for the spiritual blessing which is enabling God to use me every day to help feed His sheep.
