Two months ago I was stricken with a severe case of influenza, and a few days later what is known as double pneumonia developed. I lay unconscious for five days and to mortal sense was beyond recovery; but, thanks to God and the revelation of divine Truth and Love, through the application of Christian Science I found myself restored to perfect health, with my usual strength and vitality, within a month. That all is Mind I truly know, for during this illness I suffered not a particle of pain.

I have been reading Christian Science literature, getting the Lesson-Sermons daily, and attending church services for three years, and claimed to be a Christian Scientist; but I now find that I knew very little of its teachings until this demonstration. My healing has been a complete revelation to me. I read and study Christian Science literature and the Bible with a better understanding, and each lesson is more clearly unfolded. My gratitude for this unfoldment of divine Life, Truth, and Love is beyond expression. I am striving to express my appreciation in act and deed.
