How little I knew what Life meant before becoming interested...

How little I knew what Life meant before becoming interested in Christian Science. I had reached the place where there seemed to be no peace or rest for me night or day and was at the point of death when Christian Science saved me, healing me of stomach trouble, also of discouragement and despair. For a year I had been living on malted milk, and when that failed me I feared I was lost and would have to die; but I prayed sincerely to God and thought surely there was some way out. Christian Science came to me through a friend, and I was lifted into newness of life and understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him. The joy, strength, and peace that came to me words can never express. How grateful I am to God, to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to all the friends who have lovingly helped me understand this truth.
