Among the Churches

Current Notes

Fairbanks, Alaska.—At a meeting of the board of trustees of the Christian Science Society of Fairbanks it was decided to hold services during the winter in the St. James Methodist Church building on Third Avenue near Cushman Street, which edifice was formerly used by the Christian Scientists for some time. The change will be an acceptable one to the members, as the church is centrally located.

Dover, N. H.—The imposing new edifice of First Church of Christ, Scientist, one of the beauty spots on Central Avenue, built at a cost of over seventeen thousand dollars and now free from debt, was dedicated Sunday [Dec. 8, 1918].
