Among the Churches

Current Notes

Dayton, Ohio .—As indicating the growth of Christian Science in Dayton and the activity of the Scientists here, the congregation of First Church will hold its regular services in the Y. M. C. A. Auditorium beginning with the Wednesday evening testimony meeting, August 20, while its church edifice on South Robert Boulevard is being redecorated, modernized, and better adapted to the needs of the movement. While every effort is being made to refit the Boulevard property for the present use, the Scientists already see the need for large representative churches that will occupy the place in Dayton that is held by the Christian Science churches in other progressive cities of the country. Second Church of Dayton recently announced the purchase of a beautiful church site on Grand Avenue, Dayton View.
