It is a pleasure to express a deep sense of gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. Three years ago and more I met with a severe accident while pursuing my regular work in Texas, and within a few hours was reduced from perfect health to a helpless condition. While I was in this condition I took up the study of Christian Science. The healing came very slowly, but recovery is now complete. What I prize equally is the illumination and growth in understanding which has come with it. This has been a revelation to me and has spurred me on to greater effort and study of this remarkable teaching. My great desire is to grow daily in understanding of the truth which makes free.

Christian Science is the greatest influence for uplifting and purifying thought which has ever come into my life. I could not wish mankind any greater blessing than that it should begin at once the study and practice of the Science revealed to us by Mrs. Eddy. Lastly I desire to express my gratitude to those who have helped me on my way and to the Publishing Society for the beautiful and helpful literature. I read it all.—W. C. Phalen, Washington, D. C.
