In Isaiah we read, "The people that walked in darkness...
In Isaiah we read, "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." Christian Science means this to me. I did not come to it for physical healing, but because I was not satisfied with an orthodox belief. Ever since beginning the study of this teaching, when rightly applied, it has met every need. I was healed of a great sorrow, and through it all there was no bitterness nor despair, but the peace which was promised us by the Master. An injured ankle was healed in twentyfour hours. It had always been considered weak, and about two years later it was sprained again; this time the healing was complete in one night, and since then the ankle has been as strong as the other. What seemed a severe attack of neuritis was overcome in a few hours.
This is only a small part of what Christian Science has done and is doing for me every day. I can truly say that it has met every need.
