I am happy to testify to what Christian Science has done for me during many years. I was healed of malarial fever, liver complaint, and quinsy, which recurred periodically, as well as of many other ills and faults of character. Since war was declared I have been in most of the places deemed dangerous: Rheims, Verdun, the Somme, the Maisonnette, and so forth. Everywhere divine protection, the effect of the knowledge of God, followed me, helped and sustained me. The ninety-first psalm became to me a living reality. I have been through many perils from bombardments, from machine guns, and have always come out without a scratch; therefore I can but thank God and express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, who has given us such a beautiful example of what true faith is.
