It is with sincere gratitude that I offer this testimony. Christian Science has done much for me in the way of physical healing, the most important being the healing of chronic bowel disorder, together with hemorrhoids. The law of heredity seemed to be strong, and the hours of sedentary service extremely long, and having to eat my lunch hurriedly while on duty, as at that time I had no lunch hour, these things seemingly made the healing slow. Daily as I realized God's law, and that there is no law but of God, and that no matter how strong the material law may appear to be, the law of God is "over all, and all" (Science and Health, p. 17), therefore annulling all other claims of law; realizing further that in God "we live, and move, and have our being" just as much while sitting as walking, and that Mind, divine Mind, moves all, I could see it must necessarily follow that all movement is perfect, either sitting or standing.

By daily realizing and affirming this truth the sluggish condition was overcome, and almost simultaneously the belief of heredity was broken. It proved to me that there is but the one source of all movement, and that all God's children have their inheritance from the same source, so that I was able to look up to a perfect inheritance from God, co-inheriting with Christ. About this time it was proved to me truly that God's ways are not our ways. I had complained much about having to eat my lunch while on duty, but without avail, and had quite given up thinking about it; but I found this healing was yet to be perfected, for I no longer eat while on duty, a provision for lunch relief having been made. I am completely healed of this chronic condition of sixteen years' standing, and I am as free from any symptoms of hemorrhoids as if I had never experienced years of suffering. I hope this testimony may help those afflicted as I was to keep on working in truth, knowing that the perfect law of God does annul all so-called law which may be laid down by mortal mind.
