When I realize the change in my condition during the past six years, I want to exclaim, as did the man born blind whom Jesus healed, "Why herein is a marvellous thing." Christian Science has transformed me from one who was constantly suffering to one who is free from all such bondage, and I am inexpressibly grateful for the blessing. I have been healed of a severe illness said to be occasioned by gallstones, although physicians said I could not recover; also of rheumatism, catarrh, stomach disorder, bowel trouble, and sick headaches. Glasses, which I had worn for fifteen years and which a well-known oculist said I could never do without, have been laid aside. Even if I had never received any of these healings, however, I would still be more grateful than I can adequately express for the spiritual understanding of the truth which comes through the study of Christian Science, and for the dear woman who has made this understanding possible. I am indeed thankful to God for Christian Science.—Mrs. Clara S. Black, Alton, Ill.
