It has been about two years since I found the divine Principle of being which cleanses us from all the ills of the flesh. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for this knowledge, given to us through Mrs. Eddy.

I had suffered for ten years from stomach trouble and pains in my back and hips. I had tried doctors of several different schools, but never received more than temporary relief, and had gone on in this way till I was a nervous wreck. I had given up nearly all hope, when a lady gave me a copy of the Sentinel to read and also the name of a practitioner. Treatment was begun right away and I started to read Science and Health. In about sixty days I was healed—sound and well. All my bad habits, such as using strong drink and tobacco, were also overcome; in fact I was regenerated—born of the Spirit. I learned to look not to personality but to divine Mind, Principle, for protection, and I am glad to say that I have had this protection in business and in my home affairs, in the little and the big things of life. I wish that all might lean on God, good, for their support and help, for there is no other power whereby we can be made free, and we can get this knowledge of the saving Principle by studying Science and Health in connection with the Bible and putting this knowledge into practice.
