I thought when I had my healing in Christian Science nine months ago that I would write my testimony right away, but it never has seemed the right time until now. My healing was to me just like a miracle in the Bible. I had been a great sufferer nearly all of my life, and the last eight years it was one thing after another. I had four operations; one was considered very dangerous, the others were for hemorrhoids. The last two were five months apart. The doctors were very kind to me, but said there could nothing more be done for the hemorrhoids. I was suffering with neuritis at the time Christian Science was presented to me, and felt as if I was up against a stone wall. I was on the way to take a treatment of a magnetic healer, but the lady that presented Christian Science to me did her work so well that I was led to a Christian Science practitioner and was healed in one treatment. I wanted to know how this healing came about, and so I got "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and the Bible; I have been studying them ever since, and now I know how the healing came about.

I am grateful for the healing, but far more grateful for the understanding I have of Christian Science. At first I did not realize how Mrs. Eddy had stood, with the world against her as it seemed, but afterward I could see how spiritual she was, and realized that there is only one power, and that God, or good. When we go to God for our help in the right way, it is ever present. Words could not express my thankfulness to God, but I am going to prove it by helping others.—Mrs. Agnes R. Pearce, York, Pa.
