Mill Valley, Cal. (First Church).—Charles I. Ohrenstein, lecturer; introduced by W. W. Derr, who said in part:—

People everywhere are pausing to look at the growth of Christian Science; they see the families of Christian Scientists living in health and happiness without the use of drugs or medicines; they see children growing up unafraid of disease or germs; they see those who were once sickly and dependent upon medicines and prescriptions now living in health with medicine chests empty and discarded; they see the look of happiness on the faces of those who do not have to fear illness or disease, who do not have to fear evil or accident. And why all these things? It is because through the study of Christian Science they have learned the truth about God and His creation.

Christian Science was not invented by man or woman. The truth was given to the world by Jesus the Christ, and was practiced by his disciples and the early Christians. Then followed centuries steeped in materialism, when the Science of Christianity was neglected and lost. It was rediscovered by Mrs. Eddy in the year 1866.
