A deep sense of gratitude to God prompts me to tell of a few of the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science. Twenty-seven years ago I was led to investigate this teaching through the healing of a member of the family. From childhood I had never been strong, and for fifteen years, on account of a cough, I had never been out in damp weather. The Bible had always been very precious to me, but after making a study of it with our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was completely healed of lung trouble, and also of neuralgia, from which I had suffered for many years. I have since been in perfect health. Twenty-six years ago I had the privilege of class instruction. The Bible and Science and Health met all my needs until three years ago, when I was exposed to an infectious disease of the eyes, and not having protected myself sufficiently with the truth of God's perfect creation, I suffered from the effects. Not being able to read at this time, I called on a practitioner for help, with the result that in four months the healing was complete and normal sight was restored.

Words cannot express my gratitude for the light shown to me each day through the study of Christian Science.
