In February, 1913, I became very ill
In February, 1913, I became very ill. A physician was called and pronounced the condition a stroke of apoplexy with paralysis, and said I might possibly live until morning. I continued taking medicine and changing doctors for three months. Whiskey was advised to increase the circulation. Material means, however, had no effect. At this time Christian Science was recommended, I attended a lecture and began to read the literature. Then I went to a practitioner of this city and asked for treatment, which was given, and in ten days I was back at my old occupation as molder. I was also healed of the liquor and smoking habits. My health is perfect, and for these blessings I am very grateful.
