With a deep sense of heartfelt gratitude I send my testimony,...

With a deep sense of heartfelt gratitude I send my testimony, in the hope that it may help some one who is seeking to learn of the truth. Before I became interested in Christian Science, eight years ago, I was of a very morbid and unhappy disposition. Life seemed dark and gloomy and filled with many disappointments. When I began to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, together with the periodicals, I was lifted out of this wilderness of ignorance and fear and soon began to learn what it means to be God's child, therefore only health, happiness, and freedom could be manifested. When seemingly trying experiences have arisen, I have always found there was some erroneous thinking to be uncovered and destroyed. Resentment, criticism, self-pity, and self-will have had to be met and conquered. As I have gained a broader sense of love for others and let love rule my thinking, I have gained more of the spiritual understanding and have been enabled to realize more harmony and peace. I am so glad to know that only the qualities of good can have room in my mental home and govern my thoughts.

I wish to express my gratitude for all of the Christian Science literature, for the lectures and our church services. These are an ever increasing source of help, inspiration, healing, and love. I am also grateful to the dear friends who have so kindly helped me to learn more of the Christ-healing. It is my aim and earnest desire to strive to live daily my gratitude for Christian Science by reflecting and radiating more love, and to become a channel for good. I am thankful to God and to His messenger, Mrs. Eddy, who has revealed to mankind this demonstrable truth.
