After having received for about your years the benefits of divine Love through Christian Science, I feel it to be my duty to let others profit by my experience. At a moment when all seemed darkest I came to this great truth. I had called for a physician, but not being able to reach him, I sent for a relative who was a Christian Science nurse. Not once did I think of asking her for treatment, but my thought was, that being a nurse she might be able to give me some advice. As she was a Christian Scientist, however, she thought I wanted help in Science and started treatment while coming to the house. When she arrived she found me much relieved. About one year after this healing I laid aside glasses, which I had worn for almost twenty years, although the oculist said I should never try to do anything without them. I am able to see better now than I ever did while wearing glasses.

One year later my husband came down with a serious throat trouble and was healed in about three days. He was also able to overcome the smoking habit just four months after his first healing. Our children have been healed of various ailments, such as measles, fever, and headache, and no physician has entered our house since we took up Christian Science. We are all very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this wonderful truth.
