I wish to express thanksgiving for all that Christian Science has done for me and to rejoice with others for its bountiful blessings. It was brought to me at a time when I was physically well, but in discord with religion and very unhappy. My friend told me in a few words about Christian Science and I accepted it at once; it seemed to me a wonderful yet simple truth. Then came a time when I understood that Christian Science must be earnestly studied in order to be demonstrated, and I studied it as we do mathematics, by solving problems and destroying all sorts of error. Beliefs of poverty and of limitation were overcome, and I have had a wonderful demonstration that man really lives only in obedience to God's spiritual law.

A great help was Christian Science to me in times of sickness. When one of my children seemed to have measles, this error was destroyed in one day and the other child did not become ill, although it was not separated from the sick child. The most wonderful sense of divine protection, of the presence of Love, that I have had was at the birth of my last child. All the time I had treatment from a kind practitioner because I was in a bad condition and had great fear. This brought to the surface all sorts of error, heart and lung trouble, weakness, cough, and many other ills, which were overcome through Christian Science treatment. At last the truth about man as God's child and as ever under His protection seemed so clear to me that the birth was very harmonious and without any sense of pain. I was out of bed and began my duties the third day.

Christian Science had helped me and shown me the way to true happiness and health. We are all very well, I, my husband, and our children, and very happy. We feel no want; God has supplied us from His fullness. My desire now is to know more and to get a larger understanding of this beautiful truth, that I may be a channel through which others may receive the light.—Mrs. Marie Legsdin, Riga, Russia.
