In gratitude for the great help received through Christian Science and with much joy I submit the following testimony. I was healed of a dislocated ankle in two absent treatments, and through this healing was led to search the Scriptures in connection with Science and Health in order to understand God. Three weeks later the house in which I was rooming was almost destroyed by fire. When roused at two o'clock in the morning by the fire department, I knew that God did not make destructive fires and that He is all. Nothing in my room was damaged, and I was unhurt, while others were severely burned, and every ceiling and floor was burned through except mine. A little later deafness of three years' standing disappeared while I was being treated for pain in the head resulting from a fall.

Afterward, in two weeks' treatment, I was healed of a so-called fibroid tumor after having had it for six years. Christian Science has lifted me out of unhappiness into happiness and health, and has made me a better woman. Through the understanding of this truth I have secured more comfortable positions, and am a better employee as well as a better neighbor, friend, sister, and daughter.

I am indeed grateful for my many blessings and for the confirmation of the words of Jesus the Christ, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
