I have had so many proofs of the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science that words seem inadequate to express the deep sense of gratitude I feel for having been brought to a knowledge of this beautiful truth. It has restored me from a condition of sickness to health. It has restored me to overcome very quickly attacks of bronchitis, to which I had been subject for years, also many other physical ailments; but what I value even more than the restoration to health is the better understanding I have of the Scriptures. The study of the Bible together with Mrs. Eddy's book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" gives me great pleasure, because I feel that I am really learning to know God as an all-loving Father, ever merciful, ready and willing to help us in all our troubles and difficulties. I go to Him with all my problems, and never in vain. I am most grateful for this knowledge of Truth.

I deeply appreciate the financial help given me lovingly from the War Relief fund of The Mother Church. While the material gift was most gratefully received, the spiritual blessing was even more so. I thank most sincerely all Christian Science friends for their kindness during what seemed to mortal sense very dark and difficult times. I hope to show my gratitude by becoming worthy of the many blessings I receive. Our literature is most helpful, for there is always so much in it to meet the need of the moment and to uplift thought. I thank God for all His blessings and am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her spiritual interpretation of the Bible.
