Alertness

A Class of young men in a Christian Science Sunday school, ranging in age from eighteen up to twenty, were discussing the lesson of the day, when one of the number repeated a statement which he said was the spiritual interpretation of a Scripture text which had just been read and which was in the Christian Science Bible Lesson for that day.

With a longing to express my gratitude for Christian Science I give this testimony.
I have just been reading the testimonies in the Sentinel, as is my custom always on its arrival, and I am so filled with gratitude for the healing of all those of whom I have read that I feel impelled to give my own beautiful healing to the world that those who are still suffering may be encouraged and those healed may rejoice as I rejoiced that Christian Science heals mental as well as physical disorders.
The desire to express my gratitude in every available manner for the benefits received through the teachings of Christian Science leads me to give to the field my experience in Christian Science healing.
A few years ago, through the wonderful healing of a friend, I came to Christian Science when in great physical need.
In the fall of 1909 I received my first healing in Christian Science.
When Christian Science found me I was a physical wreck, suffering from heart trouble in its worst form, stomach disorder, Bright's disease, gallstones, frequent attacks of appendicitis, and fear of having inherited lung trouble, as my mother's family had passed on with this disease.
I take this opportunity of expressing my gratitude for a healing which followed a lecture given in Glasgow in 1910.
I wish to express deep gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me.
