I wish to testify to the healing of my little daughter in December, 1914. From the time she was six weeks of age we could find no food to agree with her, and when three months old she weighed less than at birth, although two doctors had treated her and she had been with a trained nurse who made a specialty of straightening out sick babies by finding the right food for them. She had been with this nurse three weeks and a half when I brought her home, apparently to die. Fearing that she could not live through another night, I sent for a Christian Science practitioner, having heard of a case of healing through Science. The practitioner came that afternoon and gave her a treatment. There was immediate improvement and in four weeks the baby was well. The healing seemed miraculous to those who knew of her condition.

For this healing I am very grateful and for the many others that have since come to me and mine through the study and application of Christian Science, but most grateful of all because I know of this religion which shows us the truth that does indeed make free, and which teaches us that God is Love. I also wish to express my gratitude for Mrs. Eddy, who through her great love for humanity and her untiring efforts has made it possible for us to realize so much good.
