[Medicine Hat (Alberta, Canada) News]

In accordance with instructions from the Attorney-General's department at Edmonton, the arrangements that had been made for an inquest regarding W. E. Moore have been canceled. It was announced in yesterday's News [Aug. 23] that Mr. Moore had been treated by a Christian Science practitioner. That is so, but it is stated that this does not afford any reason for holding an inquest. The News is informed that under Christian Science treatment Mr. Moore had been greatly helped and comforted. The friends of Mr. and Mrs. Moore who knew the facts in the case were naturally surprised at the steps taken to hold an inquest, and when the facts were made known to the Attorney-General's department such a proceeding was seen to be wholly uncalled for.
