It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science that I give my testimony. Nine years ago I first turned to it for healing, having undergone an operation and being in a nervous mental and physical condition. Treatment was given, but because I did not get what I thought I ought to have immediately, I decided not to look into it farther. Four years after this I again found myself physically unfit for usefulness. One day I realized that there had been something in the Christian Science treatment which was given me and I again turned to it for help. It is impossible to tell of the many blessings which came to me at that time. The most unexpected things happened. I was instantaneously healed of chronic bowel trouble, the need of glasses, which I had worn for fifteen years, also a sense of extreme dizziness. On page 390 of Science and Health we read, "It is our ignorance of God, the divine Principle, which produces apparent discord, and the right understanding of Him restores harmony." I am grateful for this experience, for it showed me wherein I had been spiritually blind. The moment I honestly turned to God for help, seeking to know Him aright, the peace and good which passes understanding came.

Christian Science has indeed brought to me an illumination of the Scriptures, a truer and better understanding of God, and a boundless sense of gratitude to our dear Leader.
